Transfer news: Chelsea DONE Deal

Chelsea have secured the signing of Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic in a fee with £57.5m.
The American winger has been loaned back to the German giants until the end of the season where he will then be permanently transferred to Chelsea.
"It was always Christian's dream to play in the Premier League. That certainly has to do with his American background, and as a result we were unable to extend his contract, "said Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc.
“Against this background, we have decided to accept an extremely lucrative bid by Chelsea, given the low contract maturity.
"Christian Pulisic is a character perfect player. I am sure that in the coming months he will do everything in his power to bring his high quality to the team and to achieve his sporting goals with his team-mates Borussia Dortmund."

Transfer news: Batshuayi on Pulisic

Michy Batshuayi has joked that he played a key role in luring Christian Pulisic to Chelsea. Batshuayi - currently on a season-long loan at Valencia - played alongside the American during a spell at Borussia Dortmund last term. It was announced today that Chelsea have signed Pulisic for £57.5m but will loan him back to Dortmund for the rest of the campaign. Batshuayi uploaded a snap of himself with Pulisic with the caption: “#AgentMichy. Happy for you bro @cmpulisic #specialtalent.”

Manchester United will have to smash the world record fee for a defender if they are to bring Kalidou Koulibaly to Old Trafford by proposing a €120m (£108m) bid. The Napoli star has become one of the best defenders in the world in recent years. The 27-year-old plays a key role for Carlo Ancelotti’s side which beat Liverpool earlier this year. And United, who have had numerous defensive issues this season, are in desperate need of new blood in their backline. But according to Gazetta dello Sport, they will have to offer around €120m (£108m) for his services.
